|This Month's Features:
Hello everyone! We are Steve and Gail Arnold, longtime Linden Hills residents and owners of the Minneapolis Great Harvest Bakery. Baking high quality whole grain breads, healthy living, contributing to the community and being your local bread bakery are our passions. We promise to bring you the most phenomenal bread you will ever taste!
Great Harvest uses pure, simple ingredients and never adds preservatives. Everything is baked from scratch, onsite, and 100% whole wheat flour is stone-milled right here every day. As the world continues down the path of cheaper, easier, less time-consuming bread-making methods; the handmade, healthy elements of baking have been tossed aside too. Not Great Harvest. We take our time and believe in elaborate, traditional methods, because only then will your bread naturally develop the exquisite flavor and texture you cherish and have come to expect. One thing is for certain, Great Harvest bread is truly one of a kind. It's simple. Handmade. Wholesome. Tasty. The way bread ought to be.
Great Harvest Bakery offers a wide range of fresh baked breads including legendary Honey Wheat, Sunflower Wheat, Multigrain, Gluten-Free, Premium White, Oregon Herb, and Raisin Wheat loaves to name a few. We also bake a delicious selection of cinnamon rolls, cookies, sweet breads, scones and granola. Please check out our monthly newsletter to see what is available today!
Our commitment to this neighborhood runs deep and we look forward to bringing you the freshest bread possible while generously serving the community. Local involvement is a focus of our business and we are happy to provide bread for fundraisers, charity dinners and other community events. Please stop by the bakery to fill out a donation request form.
If you seek an out-of-the-ordinary gift, we offer a large selection of beautiful pre-packaged gift items, coupons, baskets and an assortment of gift boxes to personalize and make it unique. And if you're planning a special event, let us know and we can design a solution that works best for your needs.
So where does all this whole grain goodness come from? Call us to arrange a bakery tour for your group and see for yourself how we handcraft our daily fresh breads from scratch. Preschool to seniors welcome!
The next time you're in the neighborhood, please stop by, say hello and enjoy a slice of hot bread, straight from the oven, and the warm familiar surroundings of your family-owned and operated neighborhood Great Harvest. We look forward to seeing you soon and serving you bread the way it ought to be!
