Here at the Minneapolis Great Harvest, we love whole grains. They’ve been our forte for more than 25 years. We grind
Montana
wheat fresh daily into whole wheat flour in a stone mill. We mix it with the freshest natural ingredients to make the most spectacular and healthy fresh baked whole grain bread around. All products are made from scratch no mixes or frozen doughs.

Every morning, giant cinnamon rolls, made with fresh ground whole wheat flour, are baked fresh. Add a cup of fresh brewed coffee and pick up a package of fresh baked muffins or scones. Next, we hand knead and shape loaf after loaf of whole grain bread. See our newsletter to see what varieties are available today. For lunch we make a variety of sandwiches on our fresh baked bread. Or, try fresh baked cookies or granola for a snack later.
Owners, Tom Amundson and Sally Weissman, wanted a business that fit their lifestyle. They left their jobs, social work and trading commodities, and opened the Minneapolis
Great Harvest Bread Co.
in Linden Hills in December 1982. Their bakery has been producing high quality bread and sweets and contributing to and supporting the neighborhood ever since.
