We love whole grains. They've been our forte for more than 30 years. We grind fresh whole wheat flour daily in a stone mill in our bakery. We mix it with the freshest natural ingredients to make the most spectacular and healthy fresh baked whole grain bread around.We never add preservatives, and all of our products are made from scratch every day – no mixes or frozen doughs. Along with our wonderful breads, we also bake cinnamon rolls, muffins, scones, cookies, bars and a variety of other sweets.
Every morning, giant cinnamon rolls, made with fresh ground whole wheat flour, are baked fresh. Add a cup of fresh brewed coffee and pick up a package of fresh baked muffins or scones. Next, we hand knead and shape loaf after loaf of whole grain bread. See our newsletter to see what varieties are available today. For lunch we make a variety of sandwiches on our fresh baked bread. Or, try fresh baked cookies or granola for a snack later.

As owners (Tom Amundson and Sally Weissman), we opened our Minneapolis Great Harvest Bread Co. in Linden Hills in December 1982. Our bakery has been producing high quality bread and sweets and contributing to and supporting the neighborhood ever since. Involvement in our neighborhood a main focus of our business, we are happy to provide bread for fundraisers, charity dinners and many other community events.
